Welcome to www.LacanianWorks.org which is a rebuild of LW.net

I am Julia Evans who invented www.LacanianWorks.net in October 2010. Between 2016 and 2018 the links to texts were disabled, so www.LacanianWorksExchange.net was invented. The texts and notes were then available from separate sites. On 24th December 2022, I discovered that the result of hostile action now prevented anyone accessing LW.net. On 14th February 2024 LW.net was declared unretrievable, soo it was let go and no longer exists.

A new website, this one, www.LacanianWorks.org has been invented and texts are in process of being migrated across. The intention is to transfer all posts from www.LacanianWorks.net to this website, www.LacanianWorks.org. Should any still be in the queue, then go to https://web.archive.org and type in lacanianworks.net – go to the calendar and pick a date or go to https://oldweb.today or contact Julia Evans.

The design has been updated and the opportunity taken to put in a different structure. Categories (see the right column) are now:

  1. A Lacanian Clinic
  2. Engagement with Beyond
  3. Sigmund Freud
  4. Jacques Lacan
  5. Other Authors A-Z

Many of the posts emanate from Lacanian working groups, reading groups or cartels. The rebuilding of Lacanian Works will take some time but if a post you need is currently unavailable, please contact me.
